I've seen a bunch of random Morgans and Peace Dollars for about $12 each. Personally, I wouldn't pay more than about $10, though - they seem so common that they're basically bullion.

With silver prices where they are right now; I would say $12 to $13 out the door for decent looking Morgan dollars would be fair. Many dealers in my area have been trying to sell them for $15 but I think that is a couple dollars too high considering silver is still under $14/ounce.

No more than $10.22. That's spot.

Morgans graded in the misleading category of "Very Good-Fine" are worth no more than metal value.

$10 -$12 is a good price. Eventually silver will go up. They can't possibly control this market as easy as gold. Silver is being gobbled up in industrial manufacturing.

Also, in the beginning of a catastrophe/monetary collapse, etc. They'll be readily recognizable by the mass's to trade. However it shouldn't take too long for the trading public to understand bullion rounds/bars.

Just my opinion.

Maranatha,

P.S. Also, if your dealer has allot of Morgans, try to strike a deal (get a discount) for quantity. Offer him something like $350.00 per 40 coins (that's $175.00 per roll) or $8.75 per coin. You don't loose nothing for asking and you just may may be suprised.
